MVP Development

The smallest version that proves the idea

A working product in front of real users in weeks rather than quarters. We scope hard to the one thing that has to be true, build it properly, and leave you something you can extend rather than throw away.

What We Specialise In

What an MVP engagement covers

code

Scope to one question

We agree the single uncertainty the build has to resolve, and cut everything that does not serve it.

domain

Production-grade foundations

Real auth, typed APIs and repeatable deployment from day one — no prototype code you have to unpick later.

update

Weekly demoable increments

Something you can click every week, so direction changes cost days rather than months.

hub

A handover, not a cliff

Runbooks, architecture notes and a codebase your own team can pick up when the MVP proves out.

Build the part that answers the question

Most MVPs fail twice over — first by shipping too much, then by shipping it so roughly that the next version starts from scratch. The point of a minimum viable product is to resolve a specific uncertainty: will people use this, will the integration hold, can the unit economics work.

We scope to that question. The feature set is deliberately narrow, but the engineering underneath is production-grade — typed APIs, real authentication, tests around the paths that matter, deployment you can repeat. When the answer comes back positive, you build on it instead of rebuilding it.

Typical engagements run eight to twelve weeks with a small senior team drawn from our Singapore bench.

  • Excellence

We strive for excellence in everything we do, from the quality of our work to the level of service we provide.

  • Innovation

We embrace innovation and continuously seek new ways to improve our services and deliver cutting-edge solutions.

  • Integrity

We conduct business with honesty, transparency, and ethical integrity — including when a timeline needs to change.

  • Collaboration

We work closely with our clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions, rather than handing over a spec and disappearing.

  • Security as standard

Information security and cyber security are standing practice areas at ABM Tech, not an add-on bolted onto the end of a build.

How we work

Scoping call to production release.

Every engagement is staffed with named people whose only assignment is your build. No shared allocation, no roster of contractors matched to a brief.

Week zero

We start by arguing with the brief.

A working session on the problem, not a requirements hand-off.

The first conversation is technical. We go through the system you have, the constraints you are stuck with, and what would count as this having worked — and we push back where the brief and the goal disagree. The people in the room are the ones who would build it, because nobody else can tell you the architecture will not hold.

  1. A walk through your existing stack, data and integration constraints

  2. Run by the engineers who would staff the build, not an account manager

  3. You leave with a scope, a team shape and the risks named out loud

FAQ

The questions that come up before you start.

Engagement models, pricing, security, and how we staff a project — answered straight, with the detail you would ask for on a first call anyway.

  1. Four things, primarily: bespoke software built to solve a specific business challenge, scalable enterprise-grade applications, legacy system modernisation, and integration between systems that currently do not talk to each other. Alongside those we build responsive web applications, native and cross-platform mobile apps, and AI/ML and IoT applications — so a project that spans several of those can stay with one team.
